Across the world and in the United States, we have seen a rise in vocal public statements by major public health and medical institutions concerning how to deal with the coronavirus epidemic.
As cases of coronavirus continues to increase, however, the response in many areas of the country, especially in New York City and in our CUNY colleges, is to attack certain groups of people instead of the virus.
